Senior Golf Tour Swings Into Action

 

The 2016 edition of the King of Clubs Senior Men’s GolfTour kicks off May 23rd at the Countryview Golf Course .

The tour provides an opportunity for men over 55 years of age to participate in friendly competition on a weekly basis. The tour includes 6 spring and 6 fall tournaments. The senior men play a different course each week for prizes and points towards provincial teams.

” The King of Clubs Tour is a great way for senior men to get together for fun and competition . Players look forward to the schedule and for a chance to reconnect with their golf buddies ” said P.E.I. Golf Association Executive Director Ron MacNeill.

The 2016 version of the tour will include a Super Senior Division for players over 70 years of age .

” Handicap or skill level is not an issue and everyone is welcome. It’s a great way to play a lot of the Island’s wonderful courses at prefered rates”  said MacNeill.

The cost of playing the spring leg of the tour is $35 which goes exclusively towards weekly prizes. Players can pick and choose which tournaments thay want to play there is no minimum .
