P.E.I. Golf Association Welcomes New Corporate Partners
The Prince Edward Island Golf Association announced today that Experience Hyundai of Charlottetown and Excel Accounting of Stratford have signed on as sponsors of its senior golf program. Experience Hyundai becomes title sponsor for the senior men while Excel Accounting Services assumes the same role with the senior women.
Commencing this summer the men’s tour will be called the “Experience Hyundai Senior Men’s Tour” and the women’s tour will be named the “Excel Accounting Services Senior Women’s Tour “.
Experience Hyundai Manager, Darren Noonan said that his company was pleased to support senior golf in the province.
” Golf is a wonderful way for seniors to stay active and socially engaged. My family has always enjoyed golf and I am happy that Experience Hyundai can be associated with this great community program ” said Noonan.
Excel Accounting Services President Sherry White expressed similar thoughts.
” I have always been a competitive golfer and golf has long been an important part of my life. Over the past few years the senior women’s program has been growing steadily and my company is pleased to be involved ” said White.
P.E.I. Golf President, Brenda McILwaine said that the Association was very excited about its new partnerships with Experience Hyundai and Excel Accounting Services.
” Keeping senior’s playing golf is a high priority of the Association and these partnerships with two great Island companies will significantly enhance the quality of our men’s and women’s senior tours. I know that our players are very appreciative of this support ” said McILwaine.
The Experience Hyundai Senior Men’s Tour has 12 tournaments scheduled at courses throughout P.E.I. this year while the women will be playing in 6 events on the Excel Accounting Services Senior Women’s Tour.
