ADL National Junior Golf Development Centre Fundraising Tournament

ADL National Junior Golf Development Centre
Fundraising Tournament

To Whom It May Concern:

2015 was another exciting year for junior golf growth and development on the Island. The up and coming talent is tremendous and since we are currently hard at work with Golf in Schools and Future Links development it will only get better. In order to properly develop this growing pool two years ago we created the Islands first National Junior Golf Development Centre. This is the first in Atlantic Canada and now sits beside the likes of Glen Abby for junior golf development.

The mission of this centre is to help all Island junior golfers discover how golf can help them lead a healthy, active, social lifestyle and show them the different pathways golf can provide. The recreational pathway will help them develop safe fundamentals to promote a swing they can safely use throughout their life. If they choose the competitive pathway they will strive to complete the 4 levels in Future Links then make the development centre’s team. If they make the team these athletes will become associated with our physiotherapist, nutritionist and strength, and mental coaches to help develop their game to their fullest potential.

The headquarters will be at the Summerside Golf Club but we are now opening satellite training locations with All About Golf in Charlottetown being the first. Our goal is to introduce more youth into this sport which they can play for an entire lifetime to achieve a healthy and active lifestyle. Close to reaching our 4000th child with the golf in schools program, this sport shows that anyone can have fun playing in any environment. We hope to keep promoting this across the Island with you continued generosity.

Please help us accomplish this plan by supporting our fundraising golf tournament!
