The Junior Skills Challenge is a golf skills competition that allows participants to showcase and develop three fundamental areas of the game:
- Drive: Participants hit tee shots for distance and accuracy.
- Chip: Participants play short shots toward a target near the green, earning points based on proximity to the hole.
- Putt: Participants complete putts of varying distances, with points awarded for accuracy.
The format is designed to be fun, welcoming, and skill-focused, making it ideal for introducing new golfers to competition while helping participants build confidence and fundamental golf skills in a supportive environment.
The 2026 Provincial Event is 9am Thursday, August 6 at Andersons Creek Golf Club
FREE OF CHARGE
The players will compete in the identified age classifications below:
- Girls 9 and under
- Boys 9 and under
- Girls 10-11
- Boys 10-11
- Girls 12-13
- Boys 12-13
- Girls 14-15
- Boys 14-15
The age classifications are based upon the participants’ age as of August 6, 2026
